No! Never Surrender To Your Users, Facebook.
Totally agree.
Facebook has set itself apart by pushing through unpopular features that people don’t think they want but actually do — again and again and again. I really hope they don’t stop.

(via mikehudack)Uhh, I’m going to have to go ahead and disagree with you there.. Blip was built more or less to content creator spec. We don’t always meet with everyone’s needs in a timely fashion, but we certainly wouldn’t have looked the other way on such an uproar as the Facebook redesign. Like all things, it’s a balancing act. I certainly don’t think anyone was balking at the idea of the iPhone like people are now about the new Facebook redesign. Facebook took an area of the browser that we’ve all trained ourselves to ignore, the status bar, and turned it into a functional part of the experience. We’re all blind to that bar at the bottom, and it took someone explaining it before we even saw the thing. It was explained to me, and I had to explain it to someone just today. I have to join the failers and say FAIL.
