So I finally saw the Jim Cramer vs. Jon Stewart video tonight and I have to say that I’m a bit appalled. Let me preface this by saying I’m a huge Stewart fan, going way back to “You wrote it, You watch it”. I think Jon was totally wrong on this point, and I’m seriously disappointed with Cramer’s inability to stick up for himself.

The sheer fact that Cramer was called into account on a fake news show should been enough for us all to see the kettle calling the pot black. Anyone who would take serious financial advice from someone as gimmicky as Cramer is in need of a reality check. I so wanted Cramer to call the situation like it is. He’s certainly no real financial adviser, this much is clear from his clown-shoes of a show. The show is called “Mad Money” to start, and he has a friggen soundboard on set to boot! Really? You’re going to take sound financial advice from this guy? And then to have Stewart call him out on his journalistic integrity on a show that makes jokes about the news? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!

Mad Money is no more the Wall Street Journal than The Daily Show is the New York Times. Am I the only person who feels this way?
