From linkfilter. Hogen-Dazs has a big web campaign running to help “Save the Honey Bees”. From what you ask? From Colony Collapse Disorder, a rare phenomenon where worker bees simply disappear for mysterious reasons. The causes are unknown, but the occurrences have sharply risen in the last two years. Honey bees play a big role in pollination of many of the foods we eat, a full third according to Hogen-Dazs’ site. Of course they could just be using this as a way to scare us into buying ice cream.
