I’ve started watching the PBS documentary “New York”, a DVD set I received for my birthday. It’s incredible how this city came together and how figures like Alexander Hamilton and DeWitt Clinton played such influential roles. I had no idea that the Erie Canal had been so important in the city’s history. Can’t wait for disc 2.
