Yeah… It’s complicated.

Love is a complicated thing. Sometimes you love people for who they are. Sometimes it’s about the way they make you feel. For me love is about acceptance. To be accepted exactly how I am and to accept the other with all their warts, to me that’s love. You do and accept things you never imagined you would, but you make it work. It ends up being complicated. Feelings get hurt along the way. For that I’m sorry. None of us have all the answers. All we can do is find what makes us happy and chase, chase, chase it until we reach that final finish line.

To the people I love and have loved: I cherish everything we have and have had. Remember that life is short, and that it’s far better to regret something you’ve had than to regret something that could have been.
