According to The Washington Post, President Barack Obama is expected to announce that he will create a “cyber czar” this week. The Cyber Czar will have:
“broad authority to develop strategy to protect the nation’s government-run and private computer networks.”The official will likely be a member of the National Security Council, reporting to the national security adviser in addition to the senior White House economic adviser, in what is seen as an effort to strike a balance between homeland security and economic concerns.
