NYSAT Map Released
The NYSAT project which replaces illligal street advertising with art work released their interactive map to the public today. It had previously only been private:
“This map shows illegal/unpermitted NPA City Outdoor locations located in Lower Manhattan. All the ads together cover approximately 29,450 square feet of our public environment.”
In an email today from the lead organizer, Jordan Seiler writes:
“In regards to the 4 arrests that took place, we are still waiting on the DOB for some pertinent information which will hopefully clear our friends completely. As it stands now they are being given disorderly conducts which is a violation, not a crime. “
