Nostalgia Chick (AKA Lindsay Ellis) has been on a roll lately, delivering both thoughtful criticism and hilarious commentary on mainstream films. Her most recent episodes are not to be missed.

You’ve Got Mail | City of Angels | Cruel Intentions | Kate and Leopold

Nostalgia Chick has quickly shot up into my favorite web series list.

I am completely addicted to this show. And that angelic Nicholas Cage “o face” illustration is highly disturbing.

I know that as an online content creator, you’d think I watch a lot of online content, but I really don’t. I hardly watch any.

But I intend to watch this from now on. I’m watching the You’ve Got Mail episode and it’s fucking brilliant. This girl is doing what I’ve always thought of doing as a webseries but never did. I’m really happy right now.

i love when sharing things on web actually feels like sharing!

Nothing more to say but, yes +1!

So mad at @UPS right now. Their driver totally just dropped an missed delivery notice without ringing the buzzer. No iPhone for me. I’m going to let it bounce back to AT&T just because I’m angry.

Dennis Ritchie, father of C and major contributor to Unix, passed away this weekend. Truly he was a computer pioneer. While Steve made beautiful things we replace every other year, Dennis made things that have been in continuous use for nearly forty. The software for every electronic thing you own was likely written in C or some variant. He was a hero to me.

In my parallel TV universe, Walter and Skyler White met in 1996, somewhere on the Upper West Side.

Yes. We’d also like to add Dr. Martens to Skyler’s outfit here.

WHOA.

Can you imagine Jerry Seinfeld doing standup on crystal meth?

And suddenly Kramer’s mental state makes perfect sense.

mind=blown

Watched Sunday’s Breaking Bad last night.  The last 30 seconds of that episode…no words.  I continue to be amazed and inspired by the performances of this cast.  Last night’s episode might be the best 45 minutes of acting we will see by a full cast this year.

And Gilligan’s prowess at creating stunning visuals is a thing to behold.

Also watched last night. Too many great moments. “Look at me Hector.” Blew me away.
